Our custom hydronic heating systems use water to tranfser heat from the source to the emitter. The systems we design are very flexible and can be used with virtually any heat source including conventional gas and electric boilers, modern high efficiency wood boilers, solar collectors and even water heaters in some applications.

The following diagrams and components are illustrative only. They may not show all the components needed for a custom radiant heating system; however, we carry all the components needed for all types of installations: solar, gas and wood sources; AC and DC pumps (for on- and off-grid systems); several types of tubing; controls; and more.

Radiant Heat using a High Efficiency Boiler

Heating System Diagram

Warm water flows from the boiler to the heating zone whenever the thermostat calls for heat. High heating outputs are available.

Radiant Heat using a High Efficiency Domestic Hot Water Heater

Heating System Diagram

Domestic hot water flows directly through the heating loops when the thermostat calls for heat, creating a very simple multi-purpose system. Only one combustion device is used for both heating and hot water. Stored heat in the domestic hot water tank allows high initial heat outputs and prompt response to the building's call for heat.
