We install a wide range of electric boilers that heat water directly with an electric resistance heating element. Electric boilers use electricity very effectively to generate heat, but their overall efficiency is not as great as gas or wood boilers if the electric generation and distribution efficiencies are considered. Depending on the electric and gas rates, electric boilers typically have higher operating costs than gas units. Electric boilers are sometimes used where other fuels are not readily available, as a back-up heating source or in conjunction with special time-of-use electric rates.

Robust Construction
- Electric boilers have simple construction and are very robust, durable, low-maintenance appliances.

-
Quiet and Clean Operation
- With no combustion process in the home, electric boilers are very quiet and clean. However, the source of electricity does need to be considered. Much of the electric generation in the Midwest is fuel with coal.

Easy Installation
- Electric boilers do not require fuel pipes or intake/exhaust venting. They are relatively quick and easy to install.
